Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Adhere strictly to all state and federal licensure, certification, and accrediting guidelines
- Collaborate as a key member of an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Document patient progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
- Serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families on best therapy practices
Qualifications:
- Current state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Relevant certification or clinical competency in hospital or acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
- Previous experience in hospital-based therapy, especially in diagnostic and consultative care, highly valued
