What Youll Be Doing:
- Deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative care to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting
- Act as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing your expertise to coordinated patient care
- Maintain strict adherence to state and federal licensing requirements, certification standards, and accrediting guidelines
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patients needs, goals, and progress
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation
- Offer compassionate guidance and education to patients and their families regarding communication disorders and therapy strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license (or eligibility)
- Previous hospital-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Competency in diagnostic and rehabilitative approaches across a range of communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills
