Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours guaranteed per week

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous experience in a hospital or rehabilitation environment preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to create patient-centered care plans and track outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
  • Document patient progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to facilitate communication and swallowing safety
  • Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards within the hospital setting
