Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Proven ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of current best practices in acute inpatient therapy
• Dedication to patient-centered care and professional collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in hospitalized patients
• Develop and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate comprehensive care
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment strategies as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes and strategies to promote ongoing improvement
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and documentation requirements
