Provide specialized speech and language therapy services in a vibrant hospital environment in Grand Junction, CO. This contract role offers a unique 4-week interim opportunity with potential to transition into a permanent position based on mutual agreement. Develop your skills working with pediatric and young adult populations from birth to 21 years while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for children and young adults. Design and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with assessment findings. Deliver therapy in individual or group settings, adapting approaches to meet patient needs. Collaborate closely with family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes. Engage in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current or eligible Colorado state licensure in SLP. Prior experience with pediatric populations preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
