A leading hospital in California is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position within a dynamic therapy team. Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with flexible shift options based on facility need

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as a Speech Therapist in a hospital setting
• Current, active California SLP license required
• BLS certification (must be active)
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational/physical therapists, and patient families to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital and industry standards
• Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques for continued progress beyond discharge
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care planning and case conferences
