Schedule:
- Regular weekday shifts (no weekends required)
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), active and maintained
- Valid, unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license in Arizona or any U.S. state/District of Columbia/Puerto Rico
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Meets all credentialing requirements for medical staff privileges
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Not accepting SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and provide high-quality speech and language therapy across the lifespan
- Document all patient assessments, treatments, follow-ups, and therapy outcomes in EHR
- Adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing patient progress and feedback
- Deliver specialty services such as swallowing evaluations (VFSS, MBS, FEES), cognitive and voice treatment, assistive technology, and adaptive equipment recommendations
- Consult and collaborate with physicians, rehab specialists, nurses, and social workers
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on therapeutic procedures and home programs
- Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives
