Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate as a core member of the interdisciplinary care team to create and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state, federal, and accrediting regulations
- Adhere strictly to federal and state regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirements
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current, active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience with hospital-based SLP therapy services preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge of best practices in communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorder therapies
