Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Speech-Language Pathology experience
- Active California SLP license
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapists to develop individualized care plans
- Document all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to review patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies for optimal recovery
