Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a hospital setting
  • Active Speech Therapist license in California (CA)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult patients
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with hospital policies and standards
