Schedule:

• Travel assignment with flexible scheduling
• Home visits and periodic office meetings

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program approved by the APTA, AMA, or equivalent
• Current, unencumbered license to practice physical therapy in the assignment state
• 2-3 years of professional physical therapy experience preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Proficiency with essential computer functions (internet, email, navigation)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required liability insurance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and provide physical therapy services as per physicians orders
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Oversee and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides
• Maintain thorough patient records and communicate observations to physicians
• Educate and guide patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding therapy programs
• Assess home environments and recommend modifications for safety and efficacy
• Participate in in-service education and periodic office meetings
• Adhere to all state-specific regulations and professional standards
