Schedule:
- Travel assignment with flexible scheduling
- Home visits and periodic office meetings
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited physical therapy program approved by the APTA, AMA, or equivalent
- Current, unencumbered license to practice physical therapy in the assignment state
- 2-3 years of professional physical therapy experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Proficiency with essential computer functions (internet, email, navigation)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required liability insurance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and provide physical therapy services as per physicians orders
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Oversee and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides
- Maintain thorough patient records and communicate observations to physicians
- Educate and guide patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding therapy programs
- Assess home environments and recommend modifications for safety and efficacy
- Participate in in-service education and periodic office meetings
- Adhere to all state-specific regulations and professional standards
