Step into a dynamic role as a Physical Therapist and deliver high-impact care in a respected hospital outpatient setting. This contract opportunity focuses on helping patients thrive through neuro and vestibular rehabilitation, providing both professional fulfillment and the chance to enhance your expertise in a supportive environment.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00am 5:45pm (9.25-hour shifts)
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities
Key Qualifications:
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license (or status update if pending)
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist
- Outpatient background highly preferred
- Experience with neuro and vestibular rehab is a strong plus
- Comfort with EPIC and Cedaron EMR systems
What Youll Do:
- Evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments for diverse patient needs, specializing in neuro and vestibular cases
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes
- Document all care in EMR with accuracy and efficiency
- Educate patients and their families about therapy programs, exercises, and strategies for continued wellness
- Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve quality of care in the outpatient therapy department
- Professionally represent the organization while adhering to the defined dress code
