The role focuses on evaluating, planning, and administering individualized physical therapy treatments to optimize patient outcomes, delegating tasks as needed to assistants and aides. A substantial sign-on bonus is offered with a two-year commitment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with active credentials.
• Experience in both outpatient and acute care preferred.
• Strong assessment, intervention, and care planning skills.
• Capacity to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides effectively.
• Superior oral and written communication ability, including teaching skills for patient/family education.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows and willingness to engage with technology in the workplace.
• Ability to multitask, independently manage caseload, and demonstrate sound organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to upholding standards around patient confidentiality, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, including frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document patient function, establishing treatment goals and plans.
• Perform and supervise interventions for diverse patient populations.
• Update and communicate plan of care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Teach and support patient/family in home programs and use of adaptive equipment.
• Participate in team conferences, program development, and ongoing staff education.
• Promote continuous process improvement, maintain thorough documentation, and support community education initiatives.
