Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in an acute or long-term care hospital environment preferred
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to develop, implement and adjust treatment plans to achieve rehabilitative goals
• Compassionate approach with a commitment to supporting patient independence and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in acute care and the Eckerd Living Center
• Create and document personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other rehab professionals to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility, and strategies for maximizing function
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
• Participate in care planning meetings as a core member of the rehabilitation team
