Within a dynamic hospital environment, youll encounter a wide patient demographic, from adolescents to geriatrics, presenting with a diverse mix of orthopedic and post-operative needs. This role promises exposure to a variety of complex cases, expanding your clinical expertise and strengthening your resume for future growth. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, youll witness a range of workplace styles and leadership approaches, deepening your professional insight and versatility.
Schedule/Hours:
- Expect a busy, engaging caseload with 12-13 patient visits per day
- Active caseload of 25-30 patients
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based PT experience (new graduates cannot be considered)
- Comfortable working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Proficient in Ortho care (including conditions such as ACL injuries, fracture care, post-op joint replacement, and more)
- Familiarity with NextGen Case Management systems and Fall Risk Assessment protocols
- Professionalism adhering to a business casual dress code
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough musculoskeletal and neurological assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of orthopedic and post-surgical needs
- Manage documentation within NextGen, maintaining high standards of compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
