Working as a Physical Therapist within a hospital environment offers exposure to cutting-edge therapy modalities and collaboration with talented teams, broadening your clinical acumen and enhancing your resume. Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current Physical Therapist license
- Experience delivering PT services in hospital, acute, or post-acute settings
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Ability to develop customized therapy plans for diverse adult populations
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Design and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from illness, surgery, or injury
- Document patient progress and adapt plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercises, and recovery strategies
- Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care coordination and plan transitions of care
