Deliver high-quality care as a skilled physical therapist in an established hospital outpatient department, focusing on therapy services for a diverse patient population. This contract position calls for expertise in neuro and vestibular rehabilitation, providing therapy designed to maximize mobility and well-being for those recovering from injury, surgery, or neurological conditions.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. 5:45 p.m. (9.25-hour shifts)
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license (or pendingplease indicate status)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a physical therapist; outpatient focus preferred
• Experience or interest in neuro and vestibular rehabilitation is a strong plus
• Proficiency with EPIC and Cedaron EMR systems advantageous

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered physical therapy in an outpatient hospital setting
• Design individualized treatment plans to improve functional abilities, particularly for neuro and vestibular cases
• Maintain documentation and progress notes accurately in EPIC and Cedaron systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery goals
• Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment consistent with hospital mission and dress code requirements (scrubs per policy)
