Deliver compassionate, specialized care as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient hospital setting dedicated to helping patients regain mobility and function. This contract opportunity focuses on therapy for individuals with neuro and vestibular needs, offering a collaborative environment where evidence-based practices are valued and personal clinical expertise is respected.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. 5:45 p.m. (9.25-hour shifts)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Qualifications:
- Current, active Physical Therapy license in Virginia (or status of licensure if in process)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Neuro and vestibular therapy experience is a plus
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, especially EPIC and Cedaron
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat outpatients with a variety of conditions, with a focus on neuro and vestibular disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members
- Utilize advanced assessment and intervention techniques tailored to each patients needs
- Document care accurately and efficiently in EMR systems
- Adhere strictly to VH dress code policy
