This travel opportunity focuses on hospital-based physical therapy services, providing exposure to a variety of patient populations and therapy modalities. Rotating through different communitiesincluding Fremont, Oakland, Berkeley, Hayward, and moreenhances your adaptability and expands your clinical repertoire. Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, adapting to new leadership styles and gaining firsthand experience with diverse workplace practices, all of which are invaluable for professional growth and resume building.
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week guaranteed if productivity targets are met (see points system)
- Weekend coverage may be required
- Flexibility to travel within assigned territories and occasionally outside these areas
- Overtime and on-call duties possible to meet caseload expectations
Qualifications:
- Current California Physical Therapist license
- BLS certification
- Valid drivers license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
- Up-to-date TB test, MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), Flu vaccine (annual), drug screening, and physical exam
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a home health setting according to therapy protocols
- Complete OASIS documentation and participate in evaluations, follow-ups, recertifications, and discharges
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and interdisciplinary team members
- Willingness to work with COVID+ or COVID-PUI patients as needed
- Adapt your approach to provide excellent therapy services across varied community environments
