Job Description
Physical Therapists are needed for a challenging and rewarding contract opportunity in a large skilled nursing environment. This position is based in Monterey County and primarily focuses on promoting mobility, strength, and greater independence among residents through personalized physical therapy interventions.
Schedule Options:
- Sunday through Thursday
- Tuesday through Saturday
Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is highly preferred; mentorship is offered for those with 01 year of experience
- Strong skills in clinical documentation and time management
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Flexibility to float to a nearby sister facility if needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations of patients in a skilled nursing facility
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients mobility needs and overall goals
- Provide hands-on therapy services to promote strength, function, and safety
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, OT, SLP, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation utilizing Net Health, in compliance with facility protocols
