Job Description

Advance your career in a dynamic hospital-based therapy setting, providing physical therapy services across a broad patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This contract position offers valuable clinical experience working with diverse diagnoses, from orthopedic post-operative care to neurological conditions.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract opportunity with a consistent weekly caseload
  • Expect approximately 10 patient visits per day (50 per week)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Valid physical therapy license (or eligibility) required
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills, with emphasis on building and managing your own caseload
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients from pediatric through geriatric populations
  • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with gross motor assessments and therapeutic interventions
  • Familiarity with pediatric orthopedic and general orthopedic conditions, including:
    • Achilles tendonitis, ACL tears, post-op back pain, carpal tunnel, disc herniation, fractures
    • Rotator cuff injuries, meniscus tear, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, postural dysfunction
    • Total joint replacements and non-surgical ortho interventions
  • Exposure to neuro cases such as Alzheimers, dementia, vestibular disorders, and degenerative diseases is a plus

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for a range of musculoskeletal and neuro conditions
  • Participate in Next Gen screening and contribute to interdisciplinary care
  • Collaborate with patients families and clinical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain professional standards with a business casual dress code
