This role offers the chance to work within a highly regarded outpatient rehab and therapy setting, where award-winning leadership encourages the development of new clinical approaches and fosters collaboration. Youll expand your practice by engaging with diverse patient populations, supervising therapy teams, and actively participating in the business side of physical therapy, broadening your skill set and making a tangible impact.

Schedule/Hours

  • 8-10 hour workdays based on patient care schedule

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active California PT license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Continuing education coursework preferred
  • Competence in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including evaluation, documentation, and coding (DX and ICD-10)
  • Capability to supervise PT Assistants and Aides
  • Strong communication skills with patients, interdisciplinary staff, and support teams
  • Physical mobility to assist and transfer patients, with the ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of PT billing procedures (Medicare, private, auto, etc.)
  • Commitment to HIPAA and patient privacy standards
  • Dedication to safety and compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor individualized rehabilitation plans
  • Conduct patient evaluations and adjust plans as needed
  • Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and aides
  • Accurately complete documentation, reports, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with physicians and support staff
