Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
- No on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapy license in West Virginia (WV)
- Prior experience in physical therapy, preferably hospital-based
- Proficiency with HCHB
- Familiarity with productivity metrics (30 productivity points expected)
- Must be able to travel between Mercer and McDowell counties
- Strong evaluation, assessment, and care planning skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders/referrals
- Establish patient-centered goals and individualized treatment plans
- Reassess progress and adjust plans as necessary, maintaining open communication with the treatment team and patients family
- Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment to promote patient independence
- Accurately complete and submit all documentation per required guidelines
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in direct care and related activities
- Adhere to all compliance, privacy, and practice standards
- Participate in ongoing staff development and maintain required continuing education
