Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
  • No on-call requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapy license in West Virginia (WV)
  • Prior experience in physical therapy, preferably hospital-based
  • Proficiency with HCHB
  • Familiarity with productivity metrics (30 productivity points expected)
  • Must be able to travel between Mercer and McDowell counties
  • Strong evaluation, assessment, and care planning skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders/referrals
  • Establish patient-centered goals and individualized treatment plans
  • Reassess progress and adjust plans as necessary, maintaining open communication with the treatment team and patients family
  • Recommend and assist with adaptive equipment to promote patient independence
  • Accurately complete and submit all documentation per required guidelines
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in direct care and related activities
  • Adhere to all compliance, privacy, and practice standards
  • Participate in ongoing staff development and maintain required continuing education
