Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical therapy evaluations and treatments focused on acute care patients
  • Manage a typical caseload of 9-10 patients daily, adhering to a 75% productivity standard
  • Utilize mobility equipment effectively to support patient rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OT and SLP for comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system (Meditech)

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required
  • MPT or DPT degree from an accredited institution mandatory
  • Significant acute care experience preferred
  • Exposure to ICU setting and Meditech EMR system is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, outgoing personality to thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
