As a Physical Therapist in this dynamic hospital environment, youll contribute to a 444-bed facility, joining a collaborative team dedicated to exceptional patient care. Rotating weekends add variety and flexibility to your schedule, while state-of-the-art resources support your continued growth. Youll experience diverse therapy practices and strengthen your rsum by working alongside different therapy professionals, enhancing your clinical skills and learning new approaches to patient-centered rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas PT licensure and current BLS certification are required
- Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Minimum of 1 year of PT experience in a hospital setting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions individualized for each patient, utilizing standard hospital equipment and the Meditect EMR system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, PTAs, Charge staff) to ensure cohesive, high-quality care
- Adapt treatment approaches to meet each patients unique rehabilitation needs
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to overall patient progress and well-being
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift; rotating weekends required
- Navy blue scrubs as the professional attire
