Schedule/Hours:

• Travel contract position; full-time expectations

Position Highlights:

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized care plans for residents.
• Collaborate closely with residents, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to maximize patient independence in daily living.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities and document interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
• Provide education to residents and caregivers, ensuring comprehension and effective use of assistive devices.
• Supervise and mentor assistant-level staff and new team members.
• Remain current with professional best practices and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings, program development, and in-service education.
• Uphold facility cleanliness, infection control, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required; Masters or Doctorate preferred.
• Current licensure as a PT in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is desirable.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
• Physical ability to assist patients and perform the essential functions of the role.
