Key Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in the State of Nebraska
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of relevant, recent experience post-graduation (candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience post-graduation may be considered)
  • Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients functional limitations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at maximizing patient independence and mobility
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Assess patients progress, modifying therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal results
  • Accurately document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress according to hospital standards
  • Provide clear and compassionate instruction to patients and families on recommended exercises and ongoing care
