As a traveling Physical Therapist in this hospital-based role, you'll gain valuable exposure to a diverse patient population. Schedule:

  • Variable schedule options: MonFri 8:30 am5:00 pm, TuesSat 8:30 am5:00 pm, or SunThurs 8:30 am5:00 pm
  • Must arrive by the Thursday prior to start date for required pre-employment health assessment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months recent experience with adults in at least one of the following settings: acute care, rehabilitation hospital, or SNF
  • State of Hawaii PT license (must apply upon acceptance if not already licensed; required by assignment start)
  • BLS certification
  • Strong skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of therapeutic physical therapy programs
  • Experience with EMR (Meditech preferred)
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays per hospital needs

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients/residents
  • Develop, implement, and document ongoing physical therapy interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians and consulting specialists
  • Provide consultative PT services across acute rehab and secondary ICF/SNF units
  • Maintain compliance with all documentation and hospital policies
