Schedule/Hours:
- Contract-based assignment
Role Highlights:
- Primarily outpatient therapy, supplemented by occasional acute care coverage
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Aides, Home Health Aides, and students per regulatory standards
- Comprehensive patient assessment, treatment plan development, intervention, and care evaluation in line with current therapy standards
- Patient and family education on pathology, treatment plans, prognosis, and the use of adaptive/supportive equipment
- Case management and interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient care
- Routine documentation and billing as per policy and compliance requirements
- Contribution to program development, process improvement, and staff/team education
Qualifications:
- Current licensing/registration to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience in both outpatient and acute care settings preferred
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
- Competency with Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation systems
- Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting (up to 50 lbs), movement, and use of PPE
