Job Description

Advance your clinical skills while supporting patients in an innovative therapy department within a respected hospital setting. As a Physical Therapist in the rehab department, you'll play a vital role assisting a diverse patient population in both Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) and Acute Rehab environments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift opportunity

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience delivering therapy within a hospital or acute rehab setting
  • Proficiency in completing patient evaluations and follow-up treatments (including vestibular and lymphedema therapies)
  • Familiarity with Meditech (for IRF and Acute Rehab documentation) and NetHealth (ReDoc for outpatient documentation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative care
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to adapt and respond promptly within a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide follow-up treatments, including specialized therapies as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary staff, including PTs, OTs, STs, and nursing
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using facility systems
  • Contribute to outstanding patient outcomes in both IRF (1:4 patient ratio) and acute rehab settings (1:12 patient ratio)
