Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Nebraska license to practice as a Physical Therapist
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant post-graduation experience (candidates with at least 6 months of post-graduation experience may be considered)
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver individualized physical therapy treatment to patients in a hospital setting
  • Establish therapy goals in partnership with patients and healthcare providers
  • Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans, and provide accurate documentation
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, mobility strategies, and post-discharge care
  • Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other allied health staff to coordinate patient care
  • Contribute to discharge planning, ensuring safe transitions for patients returning home or to other care environments
