Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Nebraska
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant experience post-graduation preferred (will consider candidates with at least 6 months post-graduation experience)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Knowledge of best practices in therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and patient safety in an inpatient setting
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create effective care plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine therapy needs and set achievable treatment goals
- Develop and carry out individualized physical therapy interventions
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home care plans
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans as required
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
- Adhere to all hospital and regulatory policies to ensure high standards of patient care
