A contract opportunity is available for a skilled physical therapist with recent hospital-based therapy experience. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients, supporting their recovery and helping them achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid physical therapy license in Nebraska
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant post-graduation experience in a hospital setting (candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered)
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for hospital patients
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to maximize patient outcomes and safety
- Collaborate with medical staff, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in patient and family education regarding therapy goals and home exercises
- Monitor and report on patients progress, adapting plans as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation
- Uphold all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
