Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, flexible scheduling based on caseload and facility needs
Qualifications/Required Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Unencumbered, current physical therapy license for the state of assignment
- 23 years physical therapy experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Familiarity with computer navigation, email, and self-management of online HR/training platforms
- Reliable transportation, drivers license, and required liability insurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete patient evaluations and provide therapeutic services as ordered by physicians
- Assist with development and updates to treatment plans
- Observe, record, and report on patient condition and progress
- Supervise and evaluate Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as assigned
- Advise and educate patients, families, and agency staff regarding therapy programs
- Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations regarding therapy services and supervision
- Participate in in-service training and periodic office meetings
- Assess home environments and provide recommendations for therapy or safety
