A rewarding opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist with a strong background in rehabilitation and home health care. This 16-week travel assignment offers an engaging work experience in a diverse healthcare setting focused on patient-centered therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive physical therapy services primarily in patients homes with occasional rehabilitation center duties.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and communicate progress to ensure continuity of care.
- Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize therapeutic modalities and interventions to enhance recovery outcomes.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Alaska Physical Therapy license.
- Minimum of 2 years general physical therapy experience; 5+ years preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patients effectively.
Schedule & Location:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- 8-hour day shifts.
- Flexible availability for occasional weekend shifts if desired.
- No on-call, holiday, or floating requirements.
