Working in this travel role allows you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, encounter a variety of patient needs, and learn from new leadership perspectives. Each assignment provides the chance to refine your clinical skills, supervise and mentor PTAs and Home Health Aides, and broaden your professional repertoire.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel/field-based
  • Flexibility required for home visits and periodic office meetings

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (APTA/AMA approved)
  • Unencumbered state licensure in SC (or ability to obtain)
  • 2-3 years of professional PT experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Comfortable with EMR systems and basic computer skills
  • Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and agency-required liability insurance

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and implement therapeutic interventions per physician orders
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care
  • Supervise and evaluate PTAs and Home Health Aides, ensuring safe, effective treatment
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communication with physicians
  • Educate patients, families, and other agency staff in therapy goals and plans
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed
  • Participate in in-service education, quality improvement initiatives, and care team collaboration
  • Conduct regular home visits and periodic office meetings
