Job Description

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Rotating shifts as needed for inpatient care

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Physical Therapist license
  • Proven experience in acute care or hospital-based therapy settings
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills in rehabilitating a diverse patient population
  • Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and critical thinking abilities
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential
  • Previous travel or contract experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans for hospital patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care and promote optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on treatment goals, safety, and discharge planning
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary rounds and staffing meetings
