Job Description
Step into a dynamic hospital therapy department as a skilled Physical Therapist committed to delivering high-quality care within a supportive and collaborative environment. This opportunity involves providing essential inpatient and outpatient therapy services within a large, multifaceted rehabilitation department. You'll work alongside a well-rounded team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs, serving a diverse patient population in both acute and inpatient rehab settings.
Schedule/Hours
- Day shift, assigned within department needs
- Occasional on-call responsibilities as scheduled
Qualifications & Experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience as a Physical Therapist in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with Meditech for inpatient documentation and NetHealth (ReDoc) for outpatient preferred
- Strong evaluator with knowledge of vestibular and lymphedema treatment techniques
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
- Adaptable, flexible, and able to function independently in a fast-paced unit
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and establish personalized therapy plans
- Deliver follow-up treatments and targeted rehabilitation interventions
- Document all care in compliance with departmental standards
- Support patient progress through interdisciplinary communication and coordinated care
- Sustain high-quality patient ratios (IRF=1:4, Acute=1:12, Outpatient=1:10)
- Wear appropriate department attire (gray or black scrubs)
