Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic hospital rehabilitation department. This environment encompasses both Inpatient and Acute Rehab, with a dedicated team of PTs, OTs, and Speech Therapists supporting an active caseload. The department utilizes advanced rehab equipment and relies on Meditech and NetHealth (ReDoc) documentation systems for efficient, comprehensive patient care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift preferred
  • Flexible to accommodate department needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current BLS certification required
  • Proven experience as a hospital-based physical therapist
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with evaluations, follow-up treatments, and specialized care including vestibular and lymphedema therapy
  • Adaptable to changing patient needs and a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Strong team player who communicates effectively with interdisciplinary colleagues
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed physical therapy evaluations and design individualized care plans
  • Deliver effective follow-up treatments to both inpatient and acute care populations
  • Document all interventions and outcomes thoroughly using Meditech and NetHealth (ReDoc)
  • Collaborate closely with other therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient recovery
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and professional standards
  • Foster a positive atmosphere that supports patient motivation and therapeutic success
