Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Previous hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to service standards and core values in healthcare
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Adept at assessing patient needs through observation, exam, and diagnostics

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit exceptional customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and team members
  • Assess patient needs using a combination of patient history, thorough physical examination, and diagnostic analysis
  • Develop individual care plans tailored to the holistic and age-specific requirements of each patient
  • Deliver nursing interventions consistent with established plans of care and evidence-based practice
  • Support a caring and respectful environment for patients and their support networks
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, utilizing appropriate protective equipment for both patients and staff
  • Apply standardized procedures when managing central lines, catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators, restraints, and fall risks
  • Support efficient daily department operations and assume charge roles when designated
  • Mentor new employees and contribute to department growth through hospital initiatives and evidence-based practice integration
  • Pursue ongoing professional development by setting goals and participating in educational opportunities
