A skilled Physical Therapist (PT) opportunity awaits in the scenic Monterey County area at a large skilled nursing facility. This contract position invites a dedicated PT to enhance the mobility, strength, and functional independence of patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and design personalized treatment plans for skilled nursing facility (SNF) patients.
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Net Health in accordance with facility standards.
- Occasionally float to a nearby sister facility within walking distance to support patient needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license in California.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred; mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience.
- Strong skills in documentation and time management.
- Flexibility and willingness to work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to work either a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule, based on preference.
