Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time travel position
• Initial work at one site; transition to a second site in July

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelors, Masters, or DPT acceptable per licensure guidelines)
• Active Physical Therapist license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1-2 years experience in a hospital, rehab, or ambulatory setting
• Orthopedic physical therapy experience required
• Strong communication, organizational, and case management abilities
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and medical terminology

Primary Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Lead, instruct, and encourage patients in exercises and use of assistive devices
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes
• Communicate goals and progress clearly with patients and families
• Accurately document and complete billing by end of day
• Supervise physical therapy assistants per credentialing requirements
• Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
