As a travel Physical Therapist, youll have the chance to broaden your expertise at two unique hospital locations, starting in Chelsea and transitioning to Revere in July. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment beginning in Chelsea, relocating to Revere in July
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelors, Masters, or DPT, per licensure date)
- Active Physical Therapist license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital, rehab, or ambulatory setting
- Experience with orthopedic physical therapy
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and case management skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and interpret physical therapy evaluations and test results
- Develop and document individualized care plans and goals
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive device instruction
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans to maximize benefit
- Communicate treatment progress with patients and families
- Supervise PTAs as per policy and regulations
- Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives
