Providing expert physical therapy services in an inpatient rehab setting, this role supports patients in regaining mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function. The position requires a skilled physical therapist with a strong clinical background and commitment to quality patient care. This opportunity is based in Longview, TX, offering a day shift schedule that includes floating responsibilities with no call requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients to enhance mobility and reduce disability
- Develop individualized treatment plans promoting long-term health benefits
- Utilize effective therapy techniques to restore function and prevent future impairments
- Document patient progress accurately using EMR systems (MedHost preferred)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Physical Therapist
- At least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Experience with EMR MedHost preferred
- Ability to wear solid color scrubs as required
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Floating required
- No on-call duties
