Job Description

Providing expert physical therapy services in an inpatient rehab setting, this role supports patients in regaining mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall function. The position requires a skilled physical therapist with a strong clinical background and commitment to quality patient care. This opportunity is based in Longview, TX, offering a day shift schedule that includes floating responsibilities with no call requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients to enhance mobility and reduce disability
  • Develop individualized treatment plans promoting long-term health benefits
  • Utilize effective therapy techniques to restore function and prevent future impairments
  • Document patient progress accurately using EMR systems (MedHost preferred)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Physical Therapist
  • At least 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience
  • Experience with EMR MedHost preferred
  • Ability to wear solid color scrubs as required

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Floating required
  • No on-call duties
