Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Clinical experience in hospital or acute care settings preferred
- Strong assessment and treatment-planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary group setting
- Solid communication skills with both patients and team members
- Commitment to upholding quality care and patient outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs and physician recommendations
- Develop programs that address patients physical, social, and mental well-being
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, adapting plans as necessary
- Participate as a co-leader within interdisciplinary patient groups for holistic care planning
- Communicate regularly with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
- Educate patients and families about recovery, exercise techniques, and adaptive strategies
- Follow all regulatory, facility-specific, and professional guidelines
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and quality standards
