Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required; Masters or Doctorate preferred
• Active Physical Therapist license for Massachusetts
• BLS certification preferred
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility a plus
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Analytical mindset and sound decision-making ability
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong documentation skills
• Capable of working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment
• Compassionate, resident-focused care approach

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement therapeutic treatments under proper supervision
• Document all care in the Electronic Medical Record and communicate effectively with the care team
• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding therapy and use of assistive devices
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and consultations
• Mentor new staff and assist with departmental program development
• Supervise assistant-level staff, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of therapy spaces and comply with infection control protocols
• Uphold licensing, certification, and compliance training requirements
