Working within the Rehabilitation Services department, youll collaborate alongside a skilled care team in a modern office building environment, supporting patients hospital-wide. Your expertise will directly contribute to restoring and improving patient physical, social, and mental functionshelping to meet and surpass departmental objectives. Each workday brings new learning as you engage in co-led, team-based approaches and have optional opportunities to float to different sites, expanding your adaptability and clinical skills.

Schedule/Hours:
- No night shifts
- Day shift staffing ratio: 1:12
- Weekend coverage requirement: At least 1 weekend shift per month (1:20-30 ratio)
- Floating is encouraged but not mandatory
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system a plus
- Comfortable with all rehab tools and video swallow procedures
- Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Willingness to take call if needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct therapy sessions designed around comprehensive rehabilitation goals
- Serve as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient group initiatives
- Rotate responsibilities for weekend coverage
- Assist with video swallow studies and coordinate with transportation staff during exams
- Communicate closely with hospitalists and intensivists as patient needs arise
- Use and maintain physical therapy equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and canes
