Provide expert physical therapy services to patients recovering from injuries, disabilities, or diseases in a hospital setting. This contract role involves administering treatments based on APTA standards to alleviate pain, restore motor function, and support optimum patient performance, all while working under limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized physical therapy plans
- Administer APTA-standard treatment interventions for various disabilities and injuries
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies accordingly
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home care practices
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license, compliant with CA state requirements
