Schedule:
- Day shift, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Must be willing to float as needed
- No on-call requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Texas PT licensure
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient rehab experience
- At least 2 years of professional Physical Therapy practice
- Proficiency with EMR MedHost system preferred
- Must wear solid color scrubs
- Candidates must reside over 50 miles from the facility
- Recent graduates and LPTAs will not be considered
Core Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients and developing individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, restore function, and minimize pain
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Educating patients and families on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
- Clearly documenting care and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- Floating between settings as needed to support patient care needs
