Join a dedicated team providing top-quality inpatient rehabilitation care in Kilgore, TX, as a Physical Therapist. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, focusing on improving patients' mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop customized treatment plans to restore movement, reduce pain, and prevent disability
- Teach patients techniques for managing and preventing their conditions to achieve long-term health benefits
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation care
- Utilize EMR systems (preferably MEDHOST) to document patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Float within the hospital as needed; no on-call duties required
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Texas Physical Therapy licensure
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a Physical Therapist, including at least 1 year in inpatient rehab settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Proficiency with EMR systems preferred (MEDHOST experience a plus)
- Must be able to wear any solid color scrubs
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the workplace (travelers only)
- No new graduates or LPTAs will be considered
Schedule:
- Day shift: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
