An opportunity is available for an experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services within a hospital setting. The primary focus is outpatient physical therapy, with occasional rotation in acute care. This role involves leading and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides, and using assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation skills to ensure excellent patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards and physician directives.

Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in a hospital environment, with outpatient and some acute care exposure preferred
- Strong assessment, planning, and evaluation abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Competency with Microsoft Windows applications; willingness to participate in ongoing training
- Ability to provide clear guidance to assistants, aides, and students
- Capable of working independently, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and initiative
- Compliance with annual OSHA requirements and personal protective equipment protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations using formal and informal measures
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, updating as necessary to reflect patient progress and physician input
- Document treatments, communications, and patient responses according to standards and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, pathology, prognosis, and home care routines
- Recommend, order, and secure adaptive equipment as needed
- Oversee and support therapy staff and students
- Actively contribute to process improvement, program development, and interdisciplinary team activities
- Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold organizational values of excellence, integrity, teamwork, and accountability
