Job Description

Provide expert physical therapy care in a home health setting serving Solano County and surrounding areas. This travel role focuses on delivering quality patient care, supervising Physical Therapy Assistants, and maintaining timely and accurate documentation. The position ensures the prioritization of start of care visits and requires responsiveness during standard business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize start of care visits to ensure prompt patient treatment
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to support quality care delivery
  • Submit mandatory next-day reporting of start of care visits
  • Complete clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of each visit
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with supervisors, intake staff, and office personnel
  • Respond promptly during normal business hours for coordination and updates

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license is required
  • Minimum of one year of Home Health physical therapy experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within a geographically expanding territory

Schedule and Location:

  • 40 hours per week, Saturday through Wednesday schedule
  • Primary service area includes Solano County, CA, with potential expansion as needed
  • Training involves three full days: one in-house and two in the field
