This contract opportunity is within a modern 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, equipped with the latest technology including a vector unweighted gait training system and a fully outfitted IADL kitchen. The multidisciplinary therapy team offers a supportive atmosphere where your clinical skills and dedication to excellence make a tangible difference each day.
Schedule:
- Day shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong knowledge of ESTIM, transfer equipment, patient lifts, gym devices, and vital sign monitoring
- Experience in acute inpatient rehab, or neuro certification/experience preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech Magic EMR system is a plus

- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 6 hours of treatment during an 8-hour shift
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver daily evidence-based interventions: gait training, neuromuscular reeducation, and caregiver instruction
- Ensure patients achieve required 3-hour therapy benchmarks in inpatient rehab
- Precisely track patient times and charges to align with documentation policies
- Collaborate closely with PTs, PTAs, OTs, and SLPs to promote patient success in a dynamic team
